Abstract:

To solve the problems of water shortage, serious water pollution and ecological vulnerability in northwest towns of China, and based on the key discipline of environmental engineering and provincial key laboratory construction, the wastewater treatment and reuse innovation team in Shaanxi province was established to research on the design theory and method of sustainable water environment systems for water deficient cities, wastewater recycling technology. The team has developed into an interdisciplinary, rational structured and international influential innovation team in the field of wastewater treatment and resource utilization.
