Prof. Huu Hao Ngo of University of Technology Sydney (UTS) gives Lectures in XAUAT

At the invitation of Prof. Xiaochang Wang, Prof. Huu Hao Ngo of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) gave a lecture entitled A New Osmotic Membrane Bioreactors Using a Specific Draw Solution for Wastewater Treatment to the graduate and PhD students of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering of XAUAT on October 26, 2015, Xian, China. As a high-end foreign expert and honorary professor of XAUAT, Prof. Hao regularly visits XAUAT and gives lectures every year.

 

Prof. Huu Hao Ngo is an academic with more than thirty-five years of professional experience in Australia and Asian countries. Presently, Ngo is Professor of Environmental Engineering and serving as Deputy Director of the Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater and Research Theme Coordinator-Sustainable Water: Treatment and Reuse Technologies and Management.

 

Prof. Huu Hao Ngo is internationally well known for his activities in the areas of wastewater treatment and reuse technologies, which include advanced biological waste treatment (aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, specific attached and/or suspended growth bioreactors, biosorption, wetland), membrane technologies (membrane hybrid system, desalination), and physical-chemical separation technologies as pretreatment or post-treatment (adsorption, flocculation and filtration).
