Prof. Xiaochang Wang delivers keynote presentation at 2nd National Conference on Wastewater Treatment and Reuse of China

Prof. Xiaochang Wang was invited to deliver a keynote presentation at the 2nd National Conference on Wastewater Treatment and Reuse of China that took place in Qingdao, China on April 20-22, 2018. This conference was jointly hosted by the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences and State Key Joint Laboratory of Environment Simulation and Pollution Control. Over 600 leading researchers and technologists met at the conference to share and exchange the latest knowledge and experiences in the field of wastewater treatment and reuse.

The conference covered the following topics: urban sewage utilization and water environment security, water reuse standards and management, black and odorous water treatment, and ecological waterrestoration. Prof. Xiaochang Wang delivered a keynote presentation entitled "Characteristics of trace contaminants reduction and assessment of ecotoxicity in the water recycle and reuse", which generated broad interest of the attendees and stimulated wide-ranging discussions.
