Prof. Zhigao Lin from National Chiao Tung University gives Lectures in XAUAT

Prof. Zhigao Lin gave a lecture to the graduate students of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering at XAUAT, Xi’an, China on May 31, 2019. The lecture entitled "Thinking on Waste Water Recycling and Energy Utilization" discussed the prevailing challenges to water resources and how wastewater recycling contributes to efficient water conservation. He introduced the SAF-MBR process for wastewater recycling and discussed some of its principles and removal efficiency, which generated broad interest of the students and stimulated wide-ranging discussions.
Prof. Lin obtained his PhD
degree from the Southern Illinois University, and appointed Professor in the Institute
of Environmental Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in1999. He
has been engaged in research onanaerobic sewage treatment, biological nitrogen
removal processes, anammox and anaerobic methane oxidation.
